Walmart recalls Rival frying pans

Walmart is reviewing 330,000 Rival brand frying pans since they represent an electrical shock danger. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the warming component in the frying pans can break, which could prompt shock if water gets inside while it is plugged in. The frying pans were sold solely at Walmart stores across the nation and through online between July 2015 and December 2015 for about $20.

This review includes Rival brand electric frying pans with model number XJ-14207.The frying pans are dark and measure 20 crawls long by 10.5 inches wide. “Walmart” and the model number are imprinted into the base of the frying pan. There have not been any wounds or incidents reported, the CPSC said. Customers are encouraged to unplug and stop utilizing their irons and return them to Walmart for a refund, the Consumer Product Safety Commission warning said.
