Walmart Canada recalls kids set

Walmart Canada has announced that it will recall eight pieces of its sets consisting of a bib, a hat, sweater short-sleeved pajamas, and combination of mittens, boots and leggings. The sets were available in pink and white with a pink floral print and in blue and white with a pattern of stars and blue lines.

The internal inspection program of Walmart Canada has determined that certain sets of pieces do not meet the safety requirements established in Canadian law. No incidents or injuries have been reported to Health Canada or Walmart Canada for the use of these products. Approximately 414 of the recalled units were sold in Walmart stores across Canada from October to November 2015.

Recently Walmart had recalled about 6,700 packages of Dove-brand chocolate snowflakes. The recall was issued for the fear that it could turn out to be dangerous to shoppers with peanut allergies. In 2014 there were a total of 43 recalls for undeclared allergens in Walmart. There were a total of 94 food product recalls during this period, from poultry to meat. Responding to the recall, Mars Chocolate North America said the company has not yet taken any adverse actions.
