Waitrose Plans to Open 14 new shops Next Year


Waitrose has reported that it hopes to make 1,500 employments in new branches and its e-business basic supply warehouse in 2016.

The retailer expects to open 14 new shops over the UK from spring next year, including five new markets and nine new little Waitrose convenience shops.They are planning to add around 200,000 sq ft of trading space to the estate, expanding on the same pace which Waitrose was having in the recent years. Right now there is only one Waitrose store in Milton Keynes – it’s Oakgrove store on Babbage Gate. Oakgrove Waitrose store in Milton Keynes set to be busiest in all UK during Christmas surge today.
