Waitrose launches new breakfast snack

Supermarket chain Waitrose has launched a new breakfast snack made by lifestyle brand Fuel 10K in its stores in the UK. The new breakfast snack aims to win people with hectic morning schedule who do not want to skip the morning breakfast but wants a healthy alternative. The Fuel10K breakfast snacks will be available to buy in Waitrose stores starting this month.

At first the supermarket would stock two different snacks, retailing for £1.49 -Fuel10K Quark with Fruit and Protiflakes- each weighing 150 grams. The Quark with Fruit snack is a smooth yoghurt style breakfast which has quark as its major ingredient. The snack, according to its producers is high in protein and low in fat, and includes various fruits like Raspberry & Blueberry and Mango & Passionfruit. The other product Protiflakes is a multi-grain flake cereal which is high in iron protein and fiber.
