Waitrose introduces Love Life Free from range ahead of Christmas


Whether it’s for health reasons or a lifestyle choice, gluten free shoppers can indulge and enjoy lots of the Christmas classics this festive season from the ‘Waitrose Love Life Free From’ range, including mince pies, Christmas cake and Christmas pudding.

No seasonal gathering would be complete without a festive mince pie or two and the Waitrose Love Life Free From Mince Pies (£2.50, four pack) is a delicious treat for those going gluten-free. With a fruity citrus mincemeat and a crumbly gluten-free pastry dusted in sugar, these are a great alternative for the whole family.

For the perfect party snack, pick up a pack of the Waitrose Love Life Free From Christmas Cake Bites (£2.50, nine pack) – these deliciously moreish treats are made from moist, rich fruit cake with vine fruit, cherries and dates topped with a layer of marzipan and icing – perfect with a glass of eggnog or mulled wine.

Moving on to the main event, Waitrose has plenty of alternatives to make sure everyone at the table is well fed. Rise to the occasion with Waitrose Love Life Yorkshire Pudding Mix (£1.59/130g) and wow your gluten free visitors with homemade bread sauce using Waitrose Love Life Gluten Free Rice Breadcrumbs (£2.09/250g).

For show-stopping gluten-free finales to the Christmas feast try the Waitrose Love Life Free From Christmas Pudding (£5.00/454g), a deliciously rich fruit pudding made with cider, brandy, almonds, walnuts and pecan nuts, alternatively try the Love Life Free From Whole Christmas Cake (£5.00/480g), a moist fruit cake with sultanas, raisins, glace cherries, dates, almonds and walnuts finished with a marzipan star.
