Unilever Trading Beat Estimates

Unilever Trading Beat Estimates

Unilever reported its third-quarter sales increase that beat all the estimation levels and thanks to increased demand of its Ben & Jerry’s and Magnum ice creams in the United States and Europe during the summer season. Mentioning the revenue rose of 3.2 percent, Rotterdam and London based Unilever when compared with the 2.8 percent of the median estimate of 18 analysts. In fact, sales rose 4.5 percent in the unit that includes ice cream which run in the fore-front and perform much above than expected. It is much notable to say that this successful performance was in between the dispute with the grocer giant Tesco regarding the Brexit-related price issue. Because of this situation more than 90 percent of the trading has come from outside the United Kingdom. Ice cream had yet another reason for increasing the sales with the support of the European weather supported by strong innovations behind the organisations premium brands.
