Twitter UK has named previous Google official Dara Nasr as its new overseeing chief. Nasr, who joined Twitter in 2012 at first running its business operation, is right now UK deals chief of the online networking organization.

He replaces Bruce Daisley, who was named VP of direct deals for Europe prior this year. “Throughout the most recent couple of months we’ve been looking at the UK office and business,” said Adam Bain, Twitter’s head working officer, said in an inside note to staff. “It’s such an essential site for the Twitter business – for publicizing, building, media and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. We needed to guarantee that we selected somebody who was regarded in the business sector, with a broadness of vision past their own particular range of specialism, and somebody who was centered around building a unique society for us.”

At Google, Nasr was in charge of key agency relationships for YouTube and display promoting.

“In only a couple of years Twitter’s UK office has gone from quality to quality,” said Nasr. “From little groups to enormous brands, Twitter’s an a portion of regular life in the UK and I’m excited to be taking the reins as we plan for the following part.”

Twitter opened a UK office in 2011 and utilizes around 200 employees.
