Out-of-home media company TSN Advertising, which advertises on local delivery trucks, has hired key executive Ben Kogus as Chief Operating Officer. Ben joins TSN from New York City, where he was the Director of Renewable Energy Investments for GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer. Ben has formal training from both Columbia Business School and UC Berkeley’s renowned school of engineering. He’s not a stranger to his new home in Los Angeles, as he worked in the aerospace industry in various technical and consulting roles with Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mr. Kogus represents a critical hire for TSN as a result of the rapid growth experienced in 2016 and even more expected in 2017. TSN has emphasized product quality and their customers have taken notice. Their client base has not only extended current campaigns but also has increased the size of their fleets. TSN has also broadened services into Canada, as they work with brands that have substantial international presence.
Kogus shares, “I am ecstatic to join TSN and continue building the operational infrastructure and excellence required for TSN to massively scale its services platform. TSN has demonstrated tremendous growth over the last few years by providing its customers unique and impactful solutions in the OOH space, and is continuing to differentiate itself in a $7B+ market. Now it’s time to build on this momentum with an increased emphasis on operational scalability, while never losing sight of the needs of our most important assets – our clients.” Ben is joining a team of operational wizards that regularly manage the installation and removal of 100s of trucks a month across dozens of markets. “I’m very proud of the job the TSN team has done building a robust and high quality advertising platform over the last few years,” says TSN CEO Eric Zdenek. “Now we look forward to even more capable and refined operations that will carry us into the tremendous revenue growth we expect to see in 2017.”
TSN Advertising has enjoyed working with an impressive list of new clients in 2016, adding major brands like ABC, Arco, Casper, Blue Apron, Bud Light/Broncos & Pacifico beer to its already extensive client list. These successes point to the genuine appeal and effectiveness of TSN’s advertising platform, further fueling TSN’s determination to invest in top talent. Ben joins TSN’s Executive Team less than year after TSN hired former LA Clippers Director of Corporate Sponsorships, Greg Flaherty, as Chief Revenue Officer.
