5 Auchan’s food-trucking application


Auchan has released its new food trucking option for its customers in France after the successful trails in Vietnam to allow consumers to see the production of their organic items from the “farm to the fork”.


 The initiative was first applied by the retailer with the coordination with Ho Chi Minh City, where Auchan said that 18,000 pigs, 200,000 chickens, and 2.5 million eggs were tracked through the Auchan Retail Vietnam trials.

4 Carrefour’s sailing supermarket

The Aqua Pod that will be serving more than 300 items in the selected areas including Kite Beach, Jumeirah Public Beach and Al Sufouh Beach where customers can order their items using small boats or by using the jet ski, they can also call and select their items and receive them in less than 45 minutes.

1 Kroger’s Driver-less autonomous delivering car

 Nuro and Kroger announced their partnership to offer same-day deliveries using a driver-less car. The self-driving startup Nuro for a grocery delivery service is joining the fleet of items delivery in Arizona.

  The new driver-less car will be transporting only goods through public roads.  For now, the deliveries through this service is primarily applied by 
Fry’s Food Store location in Scottsdale, Arizona. shoppers can ask for their orders online or through the store’s app and program their delivery “same day or next day”.
