Tesco’s opening a store in Salisbury

It will be in the place of the Malmesbury Arms on Wilton Road. And the third store the supermarket giant now has in Salisbury.

It was back in 2017 that the idea of turning the old pub into a supermarket shop was first muted, with a planning application to change the use of the pub to a retail unit approved in July 2017.

There is also plans to extend the building too.

The new store will open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday 7am to 11pm and Sunday 8am to 10pm.
