From 16 October right through to 5 November, Tesco will offer customers 10p off per litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more in store or on their online groceries.

The offer is the latest in a series of little helps for customers, as Britain’s biggest retailer helps protect shoppers against inflationary pressures. Tesco currently has the lowest level of food price inflation for customers amongst peers; c.1% lower than rest of market and is committed to keeping prices low for customers.

This offer means that Britain’s shoppers can now save money on fuel as well as food when they shop at Tesco.

Matt Davies, UK and ROI CEO said:

“Over the past two years we’ve been doing everything we can to serve shoppers better – from offering simpler, lower, more stable prices to working in partnership with our suppliers to protect customers from inflation. But we want to do even more.

“With half term and Christmas just around the corner, we know it can be an expensive time of year for customers – especially those with young children.

“That’s why we’re making it easier for customers to manage their budgets by offering 10p off per litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more in store or on their online groceries – it’s a little help at a busy time of year.”

This offer builds on the work Tesco has been doing to simplify promotions so that they’re available at a time when they matter most to customers.

The offer will run from 16 October to 5 November, at 500 Tesco Petrol Filling Stations across the UK.
