Tesco apologizes for displaying condoms in children’s health section

tescoTesco has apologized after unintentionally showing condoms in a really wrong place in one of its stores – the kids’ wellbeing segment.

Client Ollie Whittington saw the Durex being sold nearby children’s pharmaceutical and nappy cream in the general store in Townsend Road, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

Thus, obviously, he snapped a photograph and tweeted Tesco.

He told the Evening Standard: “I discovered it funny in light of the fact that it was either a pure mix-up or somebody jabbing a little fun at the way of life of youngsters today.

“There were children’s health products, Calpol, Sudocrem, all the standard kids’ solution.”

He soon got an answer to say the condoms had been evacuated.

A Tesco spokesman said: “Our customer made us aware of this error and we quickly moved the products to the correct aisle of the store.”
