Technical error in Asda server; Shoppers in melancholy mode


Asda shoppers were in a state of dispirited after the retailer had cancelled 15 per cent  of online orders. The customers have to drive until the outlet if there is an emergency. The supermarket spokesperson told that the error was an ‘unforeseeable’ piece of incident which began on Saturday night affecting their home delivery segment and click-and-collect purchases.

The chain’s spokesperson told that the issue has been resolved. As a part of apology to our shoppers affected by the incident today during a major system upgrade, we are offering a £15 discount are re-registering their orders convenient to them. One customer was told that the issue originated with Asda’s parent company Walmart. The supermarket chain recently withdraw its strategy to reach 1000 click-and-collect sites by 2018, a goal that would have seen it increase physical access to Asda from 53% of the population to 70%.
