E.Leclerc offers a reusable net to its customers buying three fruits or vegetables

Until 21 February 2023 (and since 17 January), E.Leclerc is offering a reusable and washable net to all its customers who buy 3 different fruits and vegetables. In total, more than 3 million nets will be offered over the entire duration of the operation. This new initiative is in line with those put in place by the company to limit its environmental impact and help its customers to consume in a more responsible and sustainable way. In fact, as the company’s press release points out, “since 1 May 2021, as part of the company’s policy to reduce its plastic footprint, plastic bags in the fruit and vegetable sections of all E.Leclerc centres have been definitively removed. They have since been replaced by recyclable kraft bags from sustainably managed forests and 100% organic cotton nets that can be washed and reused.
