Summit for the very needy!

SUMMIT, NJ – In what has turned into a Hilltop City occasion giving convention, the Eighth Annual Frozen Turkey Food Drive is set – turning into a Summit. The occasion, which happens from 1-4 the Summit Diner, provides the benefitted edge to Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

Frozen turkeys, canned nourishments, and donations  are welcome.Led by Other Fellow First Chairman Brett Haire, the occasion solicits the City from Summit to help New Jersey families in trouble around Thanksgiving and, every year, inhabitants have turned up to impart their liberality to the less blessed, contributing more than 20 tons of turkeys, more than 12 tons of basic groceries, and drawing closer $100,000 in liquid money.

For the second back to back year, a fun Turkey Bicycle Ride through Summit and Chatham – starting in front of Hilltop Bicycles, hault at Kings Food Market on Springfield Avenue, and completing at the Summit Diner – will be held.

Riders are requested to donate $20 to buy a turkey at Kings, and will get a free, memorial T-Shirt, with warm beverages and snacks waiting for the riders at the Diner “completion line.”

Riders, who are18 years old or more, can enlist at, should bring a rucksack to transport their turkey, and are reminded to wear a helmet and climate whether- garments. The ride starts at 10 a.m. at 314 Springfield Avenue. At 10:30 a.m., an indoor spin class choice, at Momentum Cycling and Fitness, will likewise be held..

Interested individuals who might want to make a generous donation, yet can’t do as such on November 22, can drop-off checks – made payable to the Other Fellow First Foundation – at the Summit Diner, or mail them to:
