FOODIES 2.0 will explore social media and how it can benefit food brands’ international development.

The influence of social networks in purchasing decisions is now predominant throughout the world:

  •   71% of consumers in the USA say that they are more inclined to make a purchase if the item has been recommended on social networks (Invesp Soft).
  •   29.5 percent of the most popular pins on Pinterest come from the food and drink category, according to data directory Repinly.

    Four successive panel discussions will bring together the leaders of global social media platforms – Sina Weibo, WeChat, Twitter, Facebook & Pinterest – with food brands marketers and a Chinese, a Spanish and an American blogger around the following topics:
