Small shelf price labels at Aldi

Aldi stores have shrunk the font on its shelf price labels, which may bring some difficulties to the shoppers with eyesight problems, the area under the price refers to the price of one unit of the product , which is supposed to ease for shoppers to compare deals .
An Aldi spokesman explained the reason why Aldi is using small characters with regular type was to declutter the labels, and to provide clear and clean information to their customers .
