Sainsbury’s drops the price of diesel and unleaded

Sainsbury’s has announced that from tomorrow, Saturday 8th August, it will be cutting the price of diesel by up to 2 pence per litre and unleaded by 1 pence per litre across its 300 forecourts. This is the fourth time since the start of July that Sainsbury’s has dropped the price of diesel, providing excellent value for millions of motorists.

As usual, customers will also be able to collect Nectar points on every fill-up, one point on every litre purchased.

Avishai Moor, Sainsbury’s Head of Fuel, said: “Now the summer holidays are here we know that families will be using their car more, so from tomorrow we’re once again dropping the price of diesel and we’re also cutting the price of unleaded at all our petrol stations. We know that fuel is a big expense and we are committed to helping our customers go further for less.”
