Recall at Edeka: This popular product can cause serious injury

A popular Edeka product has been recalled. Consumption of the food could be dangerous for consumers – and cause injury.

Hamburg – Who Knusperdinos of the brand “Good & Cheap” has the best before date 01.04.2020 in the freezer, should better keep away from it. The “Sprehe Geflügel- und Tiefkühlfeinkost Handels GmbH” informs about the recall of the frozen product in the 400 gram pack. Only goods with the stated best before date and the health mark DE NW 20167 EC are affected.

As the company tells, it can not be ruled out that red plastic adulterants are in individual “crunch dinos”. The article was offered mainly by Edeka and Marktkauf and could lead to serious injuries in the mouth and throat as well as internal injuries or bleeding, as reports.

The batch was offered exclusively in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, southern Hesse and parts of Bavaria.

Customers who have purchased the corresponding product can return it for reimbursement of the purchase price – even without presentation of the receipt – showing the empty packaging in their supermarkets.
