Recall at Aldi: Listeria found in cold cuts

Aldi Nord has been recalling “Goldkrone Bauernschmaus, Frühstückfleischfleisch-Aufschnitt” in the 125g pack since April 18th. The reason is Listeria, which was discovered in a batch of cold cuts.

Gmyrek Fleisch- and Wurstwaren GmbH & Co. KG has recalled the “Goldkrone Bauernschmaus, Frühstücksfleisch-Aufschnitt” -packages in the 125g-size via Aldi Nord. In the batch (GMYH 19G0484) with the best before date, 28.04.2019 Listeria was detected in self-examination in a sample.
The manufacturer advises therefore not to consume the cold cuts with the date mentioned above as a precaution.

According to the company, the potentially harmful meat products were traded in the Aldi Nord branches of the Salzgitter and Herten regions. The affected products have since been taken out of the sale.
Customers who have already bought the cold cuts can return the products in their store – the price will be fully refunded.
