Premier Fixtures today names Robert Bomholt as Senior Vice President of Business Development in the Hospitality Sector.
Bomholt has a long track record of driving business growth, market position, operational efficiencies and service excellence working with three notable companies in the hospitality category – delivering significant process improvement, cost reduction, market penetration and winning business strategies to firms like Pinnacle South, LLC, Kimball International and NCR Corporation – all of which he now brings to Premier Fixtures.
At Pinnacle South, Bomholt implemented sourcing initiatives that saved $1.25 M in the first twelve months as well as targeting new market opportunities including student housing, international branded hotels and other complimentary furnishings to significantly grow the business.
At Kimball International, Bomholt was continually selected for mission-critical assignments as he progressed from Director of Operations to Vice President of Sales and to Vice President / General Manager, where he earned substantial returns on capital in a $14 M turnaround effort; achieved deep relationships with multiple national hotel chains, capturing a major portion of their annual spend, and created new operations in upholstered seating and case goods, driving double digit growth and market share in US manufactured products.
At NCR Corporation, advancing to Director of Global Supply Chain, Bomholt led the financial and strategic planning of NCR’s worldwide field operations in 120 countries with an annual operating budget of $100M. He also achieved customer satisfaction scores exceeding 96% in quality, lead time and on-time delivery, as well as re-engineered the supply chain model reducing product costs, transportation and fulfillment expenses by 20%.
Over the years, Bomholt has applied his passion for customer service, entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of agility, energy and enthusiasm to mentor top talent, instill a culture of success and inspire trust among internal and external stakeholders from the factory floor to the C-suite.
