Lidl Portugal has just opened a new store at Rua Diogo Botelho, in Porto. The new unit creates 15 new jobs and “continues the strategy of modernization and expansion of the store”.

” The store employs a total of 32 employees, has created 15 new jobs, and replaces the first Lidl store opened in Porto, in 2000, at Rua do Orfeão, since this location did not allow the transformation of the store to the current one. Lidl stores concept ”, explains Lidl Portugal.

The new unit, built from scratch, has about 1400 square meters of commercial surface and offers bakery services and custom bread cutting machines and natural orange juice.

“The North is the region with the most Lidl stores – a total of 79, including two stock-off stores offering up to 80% discount non-food items – employing a total of 1915 in-store employees,” adds the ispokesperson.
