The Pinoy fiesta, 2016 edition, organised by the Lulu Hypermarket Group rolled out yesterday. The festival will mark its end on November 5. The fiesta was inaguarated by Philippine ambassador Wilfredo Santos at the Lulu Hypermarket, in the presence of of Mohamed Althaf, director of Lulu international along with several other Lulu dignitaries and senior officials from leading institutions in the retail industry.

The festival directs to celebrate the culinary heritage, food and health hygiene in the Philippines, moreover to highlight the best-quality agriculture produce and Filipino food products among the local community, told a press statement.  Exclusive promotion campaigns and price-buster offers has been planned on a variety of imported materials in par with the brands including Mama Sita’s,  Del Monte, Ligo, CDO, Selecta, Lucky Me and UFC Century. Dealing with agriculture produce from the Philippines, large lots of langsat, curly parsley, white onion, garlic, Philippine mango, bean sprout, morning glory leaves, baby paksoi, saba, guyabano, calamansi, jicamas, mangosteen(wild), dragon fruit, pomelo, durian, papaya, kamote (white and violet), tanglad, ube, kamias, rambutan, pineapple,  banana, senorita banana, hass avocado and sweet corn will be available throughout  the promo campaign. A raffle draw has also been organised for the items offered for QR25. Customers are also entitled to win 15 return air tickets to Manila which will further encourage the promotion campaign.
