With the launch of its first branding campaign as an independent company, PayPal will issue a 45-second television spot on Sunday February 7, 2016, during the first quarter of Super Bowl party. It will be the first time that the global payments company presents an ad during the most-watched television event in the United States.

The 50th edition of the Super Bowl will be held in the heart of Silicon Valley in the Levi’s Stadium San Francisco 49ers in California, where PayPal and other major technology companies are headquartered. As an industry leader with an important message to share, PayPal chose this historic sporting event to launch its global brand advertising campaign in order to reach a wider audience.

This announcement is more than just a spot.
