New E.Leclerc hypermarket in Podkarpacie

Another E.Leclerc store was opened in Jarosław. The hypermarket is available to customers from August 30. Its total area is 5,000. sqm, of which 3.7 thousand sqm is a sales room. This is the fifth branch that will operate under the E.Leclerc brand in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

The hypermarket is located in the newly opened shopping center Stara Uździealnia, located at ul. Sikorskiego 2a in Jarosław. Over 100 people found employment there.

E.Leclerc has been operating in Poland since 1995. It is a group of independent entrepreneurs who autonomously manage their own companies, cooperate with regional producers, support local communities, matching their offer to local conditions. Each store is a separate entity. The key moment for the development of E.Leclerc in Poland was 2010 and the takeover of Billa Polska stores from the Rewe group to create independent distribution companies.

Currently E.Leclerc employs over 5,000 employees in 47 stores located in 42 cities in 15 provinces. The business strategy of the E.Leclerc Association is based on three basic pillars: the development of existing stores, bringing together independent partners and on external development. In 2018 E.Leclerc achieved a turnover of PLN 2.91 billion.
