New Billa branch opened in Althofen

Althofen, Billa has opened a new branch in the most modern design in Handelsstraße 1. On a sales area of around 600 m2, customers are offered a wide assortment of fresh, seasonal and locally produced food. In Carinthia, this is the 90th Billa branch. Overall, Billa creates a total of 15 local jobs with the new branch.

Julia Höher, Market Manager at Billa Althofen: “I live not far from the trade route and I know what this branch means to people in the area. From now on you can rely on us as Nahversoger and find regional delicacies such as the Wenger tarragon mustard from the Wenger food factory in Klagenfurt, in our Billa Regional shelf. “

Click & Collect offer ensures a noticeably pleasant shopping
The Billa branch Althofen scores with its easy accessibility and distinguishes itself among other things by the electronic price labelling. What customers can really look forward to at this location is the Click & Collect offer, which allows customers to pre-order their shopping for dinner, for example, easily and conveniently as early as during their lunch break and pick it up later.

“We look forward to inviting people to linger and enjoy with our product variety – from local products to healthy convenience – but also with a home-like feel-good ambience. Our employees from Althofen and the surrounding area are the core of the branch and will take care that we, as a reliable local supplier, fulfil the wishes of the customers in the region. I am proud that Billa is creating a total of 15 secure jobs for Althofen with this branch and that our flexible working hours make it possible to reconcile work and family life “, says Billa board spokesman Robert Nagele.
