The German-based retailer Aldi has recently confirmed that it is opening its fourth store in Delaware, the new store is part of Aldi’s $3.4 billion plan of expansion to 2,500 stores nationwide.

The new store will be located in Capital Station development on North Dupont Highway in Dover where it will join other retailers.


About the new location, Aldi Center Valley Division Vice President Bob Grammer stated: “When it comes to choosing store locations, we look at many factors. We want the best sites that are closest to our shoppers and can support a high daily traffic volume,” he added: “As the demand for Aldi grows, so do our real estate options.”


A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place before the official opening at 08:45 where 100 customers will enjoy giveaways and golden tickets.
A fifth location is to open in Delaware in the first quarter of 2019 in Dover.
