Lidl UK Head of Property, Chris Young-Wootton commented: “As our strong sales growth continues we are constantly reinvesting into our existing store base, as well as building new stores. We are very excited to introduce this new bakery to our New Addington store and look forward to serving our multi-award winning baker products to the local community.”
Lidl, which walked away with 63 medals at the Grocer Own Label Awards last week, has experienced continued growth with over 5.5million British shoppers now flocking to the supermarket each week, half a million more a week than in 2014.
