Nationwide, the discounters Aldi-Nord, Aldi-Süd and Netto-Markendiscount call the chicken salads of the manufacturer Fresh-Care Convenience B.V. / Fresh-Care Convenience GmbH back.

Currently, the food discounters Netto-Markendiscount, Aldi-Nord and Aldi-Süd have to recall different chicken salads. The salads include kidney beans. During a routine quality control, the bacterial strain Listeria monocytogenes was detected in the supplied kidney beans.
Listeria may cause flu-like symptoms and, in sensitive individuals, a very serious illness (“listeriosis”). You should not eat the contents of affected packs.

There is a health hazard to the consumer due to bacteria. Food is regularly recalled. This can be a very harmful reason, such as the wrong packaging. Even with serious problems such as possible foreign bodies in the product, a callback is necessary. Often the quality problem is not found in all products sold. As soon as a health risk for the consumer can not be excluded, the food will be recalled.
