Morrisons and Tesco respond to the call of the price war that Asda made

The fever of prices cut has hit Morrisons and Tesco as Asda ealier announced the 7th petrol prices cut in less than 3 months. Morrisons and Tesco have slashed their prices just a few days after Adsa’s announcement of the new fuel prices.

Morrisons have announced that they are reducing the prices of more than 1,000 items (online and in store). The reduction including tinned goods, lunchbox snacks and multivitamins up to 20%.
In an interview with LiverpoolEcho, a spokesperson at Morrisons said. “We’re listening to customers who are telling us that their budgets will be stretched in January. We are cutting every penny we can on the essentials that will help them feed their families,”

Tesco on another hand have launched an unbeatable offer on branded and own-brand items, celebrating its 100 anniversary in 2019. Discounts range to more than half price (54 per cent).
