Zurich (awp) – The Swiss subsidiary of German electronics retailer MediaMarkt wants to focus more on business customers. In addition to the private customer business, this sector will be expanded, according to a statement released Tuesday.
The focus is on medium-sized companies, for example in the areas of offices and commerce, gastronomy and hotels, but also training and public administration, said Patrick Marti, director General of MediaMarkt Switzerland.
Dominik Kargl, new “Head B2B”, will be responsible for this development. He held similar positions at Interdiscount / Microspot.
The brand also announces the appointment of Nicolas Bill as Chief Marketing Officer. He worked for Veriset and was a member of the management of Möbel Hubacher.
Both men are part of the expanded management of MediaMarkt Switzerland.
