Mars Launches spreadable Twix

Twix your sandwich. It may sound crazy, but chocolate giant Mars has realized the dream of many Twix fans. Twix from a jar is in fact available at the British supermarket ASDA since this week. The 200g jars are available at ASDA, with plans for them to be stocked in supermarkets across the UK. One jar costs about $3.

The pasta is exactly what you expect of it: a smooth chocolate cream with a hint of caramel and pieces of crunchy biscuit. According to Mars, the spread ideal for toast or for a British crumpet (a kind of thick pancakes). The spread is essentially a broken down, jarred up Twix, with chocolate and caramel flavors plus a little crunch courtesy of the bar’s crispy biscuit pieces. It is not the first bar which Mars has managed to get in a game: already a pot of Maltesers and Bounty was launched.
