Malaysia Milk Sdn Bhd announced that the company would be recalling its Marigold HL milk (200ml and 1litre) from supermarket shelves with prompt impact. The organization said this was in light of customer complaint on the viscosity of its Marigold HL chocolate milk that seemed higher than regular.

“While client input is particularly on the Marigold HL chocolate milk, in any case Malaysia Milk is taking proactive measures to review different items including Marigold HL plain drain (200ml and 1L), Marigold HL strawberry drain (200ml and 1l), and Marigold HL with plant sterols (1L),” the organization said in an announcement. Malaysia Milk said just Marigold HL milk items with best before dates Nov 7 for Peninsular Malaysia and before Nov 11 (Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan) are being recalled.

It included that its Quality Control Unit and Manufacturing group had discovered the source of the issue and amended it. “Malaysia Milk wishes to apologize for the inconvenience caused by this item review. Our clients’ wellbeing and security is our top need and we are doing all that we can to give however much data and support as could be expected.

. “We are committed to ensure products reach retail outlets as fresh as the day they leave Malaysia Milk plant. This is in keeping with our commitment to quality.” Customers who had purchased the affected items are encouraged to return them to Malaysia Milk for a substitution or contact the client customer support.  For more details call 1800-88-5587.
