Lidl recalls batch of chrome LED spotlights

lidl usaGerman discount supermarket Lidl has recalled a batch of chrome LED spotlights from its Hungarian stores in light of potential risk of electric shock. The company asked shoppers who bought these lights to return the product to avail a full refund. The supermarket said in a statement that the recall measure was to ensure the consumers safety.
The chrome LED spotlights Livarno Lux version with a motion sensor is manufactured by Briloner Leuchten GmbH. The recall affected products with the label No. 94507 107133. The affected products were sold in Lidl stores in Hungary since June 2014 (part number 94507), and since June 2015 (part number 107133).
The company said that the purchase price would be refunded even without proof of purchase receipt. The recall affects only 94,507 of the 107,133’s Livarno Lux LED spotlights chrome version sold. Other variants or numbers or colors, sold by LIDL lamp does not need to be replaced. LIDL Hungary apologized on behalf of the product manufacturer for any inconvenience caused.
