Lidl recalling sold pretzels in its stores

As a precautionary measure, Lidl calls back pretzels from the manufacturer Grafschafter. The product could contain metal parts.

Neckarsulm (dpa) – The discounter Lidl has taken as a precaution baking pretzels from the sale, because in the affected product metal parts may be included.

“Due to the possible risk of injury when eating, customers should pay attention to the recall and the product under no circumstances consume,” said Lidl under based in Neckarsulm on Monday.

Affected is the product “Grafschafter 9 pretzels for ready-to-bake, 785 g” with the expiry date 29.2.2020 and 1.3.2020 of the manufacturer IVV GmbH & Co. KG. It could be returned in all Lidl branches. “The purchase price will of course be refunded, even without presentation of the receipt.”

Other products sold by Lidl manufacturer IVV GmbH & Co. KG and pretzels from other manufacturers as well as pre-baked pretzels from the baking station are not affected by the recall, said Lidl.
