Lidl is currently testing the smartphone app “Lidl Plus”: new benefits such as digital receipts or discount coupons can be used with the Lidl Plus app since 13 June, but only in the approximately 250 Lidl branches in Berlin and Brandenburg. A Germany-wide rollout is planned for 2020.

The new digital Lidl customer card “Lidl Plus” * is launched: Since June 13, 2019, customers can use the new app Lidl Plus in all around 250 Lidl branches in Berlin and Brandenburg. With the app, customers receive numerous offers and functions such as discount coupons, digital receipts or the leaflet with every purchase – simply and quickly on the smartphone. Customers can download the app for free from the App Store (iOS) * and the Play Store (Android) * and enjoy exclusive benefits since June 13th.

“Lidl Plus * is part of the digital development at Lidl and at the same time the basis for the future by linking our digital and stationery business more closely,” explains Dominik Eberhard, Digital Director at Lidl Germany. “With the new digital customer card, we offer Lidl fans the opportunity to save money every time they buy.”
