Kenya will be exhibiting its fresh produce exports to the UK

As I mentioned to you on phone, Kenya will be exhibiting its fresh produce exports to the UK at the forthcoming London Produce show which is scheduled to be held from 7th -9th June 2017 at the Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane. I would encourage you to visit our stand on 8th and talk to the team from Nairobi directly regarding the Magazine.

In addition,on 7th June from 9.00a.m – 12.30 am the Kenya High Commission is organizing a Workshop on Kenya’s National Horticulture Traceability System which was launched in September 2016 at the Jeeves Suite Grosvenor house.

The Objective of the Workshop is to present the strategic measures that the Government of Kenya has implemented to ensure compliance with the importation standards/regulations of the UK (EU) and the World Trade Organization. These measures include the traceability system and enhancing the security of the Sanitary and Pyto- Sanitary certificate among others initiatives that the team from Nairobi will be sharing with the participants.We are targeting participation from the fresh produce regulators, supermarket chains, frieght forwarders and other relevant stakeholders directly involved with fresh produce importation and selling on the UK Market.

The High Commission would like to invite you and any other company dealing/selling fresh produce here in the UK to participate in the above workshop. We would highly appreciate if you could share this information w with your contacts in the UK supermarkets, and other stakeholders directly involved in horticulture trade and promotion.
