Kellogg Garden Products Selected as The Home Depot’s 2017 Environmental Vendor of the Year

Kellogg Garden Products was honored to be selected as the 2017 Environmental Vendor of the Year by The Home Depot. The company has been a vendor-partner for over 30 years and now provides certified organic soils in all The Home Depot stores nationally.

Kellogg Garden Organics is the only organic soil and fertilizer brand in which all branded products are listed with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI), the leading independent third-party reviewer accredited by USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP) and the equally rigorous Organic Input Material (OIM) program, from the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

“We are extremely honored to win this award. But even more, we passionately believe that every single time someone chooses to buy a bag of organic soil or fertilizer over a synthetic chemical alternative, it helps our environment in numerous ways. It sequesters carbon into the soil instead of the atmosphere, and can help reduce chemical run off, leading to cleaner waterways and ultimately better communities. While we are beyond excited to be recognized, we believe any time organics are recognized, individual communities and families are the real winners,” said Rob Hudiburg, President of Kellogg Garden Products.
