Kaufland recalls some variety of its meat

Packed ground beef from Kaufland was recalled on Friday. This was announced by the company. This affects 300, 500 and 1000 gram packs of minced meat. Customers who have the product in the fridge should not consume it anymore.

Reason is a possible contamination “with small foreign bodies,” said the company on Friday. Concretely, therefore, red plastic parts could be the packages of minced meat brand K-Purland with the use date July 1. It was produced by Kaufland Fleischwaren Möckmühl.

Recall of ground beef at Kaufland: Many regions affected
Kaufland has already taken the affected product preventively from the sale. Affected are therefore supermarkets in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. Other K-Purland products or products with other consumption data are not affected, the company said.
