Jenny Craig Named a “Best Diet” by U.S. News & World Report

Jenny Craig, a leader in the weight loss industry, today announced they have been recognized for the seventh consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of consumer advice and rankings, as the 2nd Best Weight Loss Diet Plan, 3rd Best Commercial Diet Plan, and 4th Best Fast Weight Loss in its annual Best Diets rankings.  Additionally, Jenny Craig is introducing a ‘Serious Weight Loss’ campaign series highlighting real member successes across all marketing channels.  Kirstie Alley, who is on the Jenny Craig maintenance program, will remain prominent throughout the company’s marketing initiatives such as on the website, with public relations and across social media.

Building on the momentum of 2016, Jenny Craig is expanding upon its successful member-based campaign with the theme of ‘Serious Weight Loss’ featuring members sharing their personal success stories*, the bond they have with their consultant and how much they love the Jenny Craig food.  New this year is the brand’s focus on a male success story, Tim, a retired Army colonel, who highlights that men can have tremendous success on the program without any sacrifices or having to count and track food.  The campaign ‘Serious Weight Loss’ underscores the commitment of a dedicated consultant to help guide each member to success with guaranteed real results. †

“At Jenny Craig we take weight loss very seriously in an industry that has more than its fair share of gimmicky diets that waste consumers’ time and money.  We work with each member individually because we know each and every weight loss challenge is unique.  We are very proud to see our weight loss program consistently recognized as highly effective by leading and independent reports such as U.S. News & World Report and Annals of Internal Medicine.  Our personal consultants, who have consistently been acknowledged for Best Support, in conjunction with our meals created by over forty chefs enable us to help our clients achieve their goals time and time again,” said company CEO and President Monty Sharma.

Also in 2017, Jenny Craig will be introducing a variety of new menu items which are featured in the campaign creative including Cheesy Broccoli, Green Beans with Garlic & Olive Oil, Orange Chicken with Vegetables & Brown Rice, Cookies & Cream Cake, Iced Oatmeal Cookie and Country Sausage Gravy Scramble.  Jenny Craig works with more than 40 professional chefs to create best-in-class menu items featuring premium ingredients.
