Jack & Jones continues UK expansion drive with new store at Trinity Leeds

Fashion retailer JACK & JONES will open a new store at the Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre, opening 21st March 2013.  The new store follows recent lettings at Exeter, Carlisle, Swansea and Cwmbran and continues the Danish-owned retailer’s expansion across the UK.

Launched in 1989, Jack & Jones is now sold in approximately 2,000 retail shops across Europe, of which 270 are franchises. As part of plans to grow the business, CBRE is retained to assist the retailer with its store requirements in the north of England and Scotland.

Opening in March 2013, Trinity Leeds will cover one million sq ft over three levels. The centre will be spread across three of the busiest shopping streets in Leeds and will be home to 120 shops and eateries, including flagship stores for Marks & Spencer, Topshop, Superdry, Urban Outfitters and Next to name a few. CBRE, on behalf of JACK & JONES, has secured a 2,152 square foot store on the Briggate level of the shopping centre.

Kevin Simms, Retail Director, CBRE, commented:

“JACK & JONES has experienced considerable success since 1989 and continues to expand its store portfolio throughout the UK. The new store at Trinity Leeds, which is set to become one of the UK’s premier shopping centers, is an excellent addition to the portfolio and will open the brand to an estimated 18.2 million people travelling through nearby train and bus stations, as well as extending its customer base in the fourth largest UK city.”
