As announced recently, this year Lidl intends to expand with 40 other supermarkets the number of outlets existing in Italy, with an investment of over 350 million euros and the recruitment of more than 2,000 new employees. And so, after cutting the ribbon of the new store in Milan in Via Bezzi a few days ago, according to the new metropolitan format, Thursday, January 31 comes a new opening, this time in Lazio in Bracciano.

This is a recovery project for a shed built in 2008 and abandoned for ten years: the new supermarket will have a sales area of ​​1200 square meters and will employ 17 people in total. In the new store in Via Settevene Palo II Tronco, more than 2000 references, 80% of which are made in Italy, in particular with the “italiamo” line. In the first week of opening discounts up to 50% in the fruit and vegetable department.

In Lazio, the German player is present with 37 sales points and a logistics platform in Anagni (FR) for a total of about 1,000 employees. The Bracciano point of sale is the 25th store of Lidl in the province of Rome.
