Ingredients Russia
There is only two months until Moscow’s All-Russian Exhibition Centre, VVC, will open its doors to two specialised international food exhibitions. Ingredients Russia, dedicated to food ingredients, additives and flavourings, and Meat and Dairy Industry, focusing on livestock feeding, rearing, processing and production, will take place on the 18–21 March 2014.

The 17th edition of Ingredients Russia will see the first time participation from the food suppliers Fivestar Dehydration, Fine Foods Industries, Jumbo Trading, Galactic, Global Ingredients Supply Holding and Shreeji Protein.

The leading international companies Lonza, Naturex, DSM, Euromar Commodities and Nexira will be among the returning companies to the show.

New companies from Belgium, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Israel will be welcomed at Dairy and Meat Industry – the only specialised Diary and Meat exhibition in Russia.

During four days, senior-buyers from Russia and Eastern Europe’s food processing companies are expected to attend. Last year, over 5,000 visitors attended the events to source the latest food products and equipment available on the market, make new contacts and negotiate deals.

Exhibiting companies will display food extracts, snacks, dairy products, fats, oils, cocoa products, lactic acid, dairy production equipment, meat processing machinery and much more.

A diverse programme of seminars, conferences, masterclasses and presentations will run alongside the events, including:

–    The 15th International Food Ingredients of the 21st Century Forum – discussing the important issues facing Russia’s food industry.

–    New Product Zone – Ingredients of the Year

–    Specialised Conferences – Beef Cattle, Dairy Farming, Poultry Farming and Meat Processing

–    Dairy Tasting Contest

Russia’s dairy industry is expected to grow by 2.1% in 2014, reaching RUB 792 billion in value; the country is also forecast to become Europe’s largest food consumption market by 2018.

Leila Isakova, Sales Manager, ITE Group, commented, “The specialised events continue to be a springboard for international companies entering or expanding their operations in Russia. Russia’s appetite for new and exotic flavours has been a driving force for Russia’s food production industry. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new exhibitors in March, and wish them a successful show.”
