Top findings from Euromonitor’s toys and games industry insights survey include:
Future sales expectations among industry professionals are cautiously optimistic; 41% think value sales in their category in 2022 will be at least 5% better than in 2017.
New product innovation, online distribution, and recognisable intellectual property/brands are expected to be the most influential trends impacting sales in the coming year.
In line with the above trends, nearly half of industry professionals cite products with new playstyles or designs as one of the most important features of successful new product launches in the past year.
