Voice of the Industry: Hot Drinks

A new report in the Industry Insights series focuses on hot drinks trends, drawing on an Industry Insights survey of 69 professionals around the world.

Top findings from Euromonitor’s hot drinks industry insights survey include:

  • Future sales expectations among industry professionals are cautiously optimistic. More than half of them think value sales in their category in 2022 will be at least 5% higher than in 2018.
  • E-commerce/internet retailing, sustainable packaging and ethical/fair trade sourcing are expected to be the most influential trends impacting sales in the coming year.
  • On average, 42% of industry professionals cite coffee pods/capsules, single-region/single-origin products, green tea/matcha as the most successful new product launches in the past year.
