Indonesian Baking Giant debuts at Africa’s Big Seven

Rising to the challenge of doing business in Africa’s lucrative consumer markets, Far East baking giant Sinar Meadow International Indonesia (SMII) will be at Africa’s Big Seven (AB7) for the first time this year to launch its wide range of baking and frying products to African buyers. AB7 takes place from 22 to 24 June at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand.
SMII has been supplying base ingredients to Indonesian and international food manufacturers for 23 years, including bakeries, hotels, restaurants, professional caterers, food ingredient manufacturers and bakery ingredient stores.
SMII manufactures a wide range of palm oil-based edible fats and oils, margarines, shortenings and frying fats under its well-known brands such as Gold Bullion, Mother’s Choice, Silver Bullion, Frymasta and Cita dan Maestro. Their products are used by many Indonesian and other Far East manufacturers in the production of breads, cakes, croissants, creams, biscuit fillings, cookies, puff pastries, sweets and ice creams of excellent quality.
Their frying fats are suitable for frying many different foods, including doughnuts, French fries and chicken. The company’s products are supplied in a variety of sizes including bulk 15kg and 25kg cartons.
