Huawei has announced the opening of its first French Flagship Store by the end of 2019. The physical store will be located in Paris, 9 boulevard des Capucines (Opera). It will be housed in a 19th century building. It has become a habit for Chinese brands to offer their own points of sale in the capital: Xiaomi has already opened several Mi Store, while OnePlus opens a pop-up store with each smartphone release.

“This future opening marks an important step in the development of Huawei’s distribution network in France after several years of increasing our presence in the region in collaboration with our various distributor and operator partners. Paris will be the fourth European capital to host a store in own, “said a representative of Huawei quoted by Usine Digitale.

“The French love premium tech brands,” said Alex Huang, Huawei Consumer France Managing Director. He also announced that other cities should host Flagship Store in the future, mentioning Marseille and Nice as possible destinations.

Huawei has just inaugurated in Madrid its largest Flagship Store outside China, with an area of 1100 square meters. A symbol of his new strategy focused on high-end experience and ambitions in Europe, where he is the number two manufacturer after Samsung. Huawei has sold 100 million smartphones in the world from January 1 to May 30, 2019, a symbolic threshold that was crossed 49 days later in 2018.
