HOW MATURE…? ALDI BEEFS UP ITS RANGE OF ABERDEEN ANGUS WITH NEW 36-DAY AGED BEEF

Aldi becomes the first supermarket to offer 36-day aged beef to its customers via its new and improved Specially Selected Aberdeen Angus British Beef range* available in all UK** stores now.  Aldi’s popular Aberdeen Angus range – previously matured to 30-days, has already won over steak fans with over three quarters of Aldi customers [79%], agreeing that the extra six days of maturing has produced the best-ever flavour.

Customers can choose from a range of products, including Ribeye (£4.49, 227g), Sirloin (£4.49, 227g), as well as delicious Beef Rump (£3.29, 227g). 

The 100% British Aberdeen Angus beef has been carefully dry-aged on the bone for 21-days with Himalayan salt to bring out the rich, intense flavour. The beef is then matured under expert watch to a total of 36-days with the longer ageing time producing an exceptionally rich, meaty and tender taste.
