Greenvale Extends Award-Winning Brand into Baking Specific Pack


Leading potato supplier Greenvale is building on the success of its award-winning consumer brand, with the introduction of GreenVale Jacket Potatoes, offering consumers four larger spuds specifically for baking.


Like the GreenVale All Rounders, GreenVale Jacket Potatoes come in striking, brightly coloured paper sacks with a net window which are both environmentally friendly and keep the potatoes fresher for longer.  Devotees of the GreenVale All Rounder potatoes can also rest assured that the four baking potatoes in the GreenVale Jackets pack are the same variety, which is noted for its light creamy texture, rich buttery taste, mouth-watering yellow flesh and brilliantly crispy skins.

The GreenVale All-Rounder potatoes launched exclusively through selected Tesco stores in February 2012 and by November the brand was being rolled out to Tesco outlets nationwide. During its first year GreenVale All-Rounders were credited with helping to bring new shoppers into the potato category and since the launch over 1 million shoppers have bought the brand.


GreenVale Jacket Potatoes will be available in Tesco stores nationwide from mid-January and will retail for around £1.89.
