Gloucestershire Lidl store to close for the expansion

The German-based retailer has stated recently that they have received the green light for the expansion works on their Gloucestershire store to commence by the beginning of 2019.

The construction of increasing the store size means that the store will close for the period of construction which will end by summer 2019, yet it is expected that the retailer will use an alternate store to serve customers during the period of construction.

The new store will have a lager sales area and a larger parking space around the store.

About the construction of the new store said the UK’s Regional head of property, Glen Stidever to the local press: “We could not be more delighted to have received planning permission, and look forward to getting started on construction. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for their continued support as we enter the next phase of development.”.
